Start With the Product Strength

Pet CBD strength is the amount of CBD in each chew. Companion Soft Chews come in 10mg, 20mg, and 40mg options so pet parents can choose a practical format for their dog, cat, or pet.

The strength on the label is not the same thing as the number of chews in a serving. Read the full directions and use your pet's current weight when comparing options.

Use Current, Accurate Information

  • Confirm your pet's current weight.
  • Review the CBD amount listed per chew.
  • Read the complete ingredient panel and label directions.
  • Keep a list of current medications and supplements.
  • Ask your veterinarian about questions specific to your pet.

Keep the Schedule Consistent

A simple morning-and-evening routine can be easier to remember and observe. Use the same product strength and timing unless your veterinarian recommends a change. Do not compare the number of chews across brands without first comparing the milligrams in each chew.

Observe the Whole Pet

Record a few practical details before beginning and as the routine continues. Useful observations can include joint health and mobility, behavioral health, responses to stress and calming routines, skin health, neuro health, cognitive health, digestive health, and overall daily wellness.

For senior pets, it can be especially helpful to note activity, rest, appetite, engagement, and ease within familiar routines. Keep observations factual and share meaningful changes with your veterinarian.

Ask for Guidance When You Need It

Every pet has an individual health history. If you are unsure which Companion strength fits your pet's size or how to read the label, use our Ask a Veterinarian form for product guidance and contact your primary veterinarian for care decisions.
